This is one of the couple of times when I am away from my sis on this occasion and first time being out of the country.

But my sis catches me wherever I am…hehe :-)

I got my rakhee by DHL two days prior to the festival..and man it was a beautiful one indeed.

The rakhee was best for sending. It had placeholder for some kumkum and one for some ricegrains. And ofcource the rakhee.

Happy Independence Day to one and all of my Indian Brethren…

To those who were in oblivion from past 60 years, today is the 61st Anniversary of Indian Independence from British colonial rule.

Its first time, I am celebrating the independence day from abroad…and I feel more attached to my country in a way.

I am waiting to come back to my home as soon as possible.
